It's time for Phantom Abyss to transition out of Early Access and into 1.0 later this month, on January 25. The past couple of years have been a great experience for us, and we are very grateful for all the love and support you have shown us during EA. We couldn't have reached this point without your invaluable feedback.
Phantom Abyss is played single-player, and the ‘ghosts’ represent previous player attempts and are not people currently playing the game. Phantom Abyss is not a Fall Guys-style game where everyone plays at the same time.
But if you succeed, unlike the numerous fallen phantoms of other players' attempts you see around you, you'll get the treasure, and pelo one else will be able to. Phantom Abyss is headed to Steam Early Access later this month.
If you've never played Phantom Abyss before, now is the perfect time to check it out, and likewise if you haven't played since early in the EA launch, there's a reason to return to it again. But, if you've been routinely playing this game for the past 18 months, you'll likely be a little disappointed that the 1.0 debut didn't come with a bit more meat on its bones, if you will.
This guide includes basic info to help new explorers, tricks and hidden chest locations that intermediate players may not know about and useful facts I've learned through lots of testing. There's plenty of pictures too! This guide is based on the first thr...

Phantom Abyss is an asymmetric-multiplayer, temple-based puzzle game in which players charge through trap dungeons in hopes of securing expensive items of great renown.
HOLY how have I not gotten a full run yet T_T In Phantom Abyss, you compete with other players around the world to steal an idol from a temple filled with tough jumps, booby traps, and hidden keys. Using a whip for traversal, freerun your way through the danger to be the first (and only) player to reach the goal. Phantom Abyss is available on PC in Steam Early Access June 22nd. 1.0 update sorta killed the vibe for me lots of changes that are worse than in previous versions. Phantom Abyss Speedrun I would recommend this if it just rolled back a few updates.
If you’re a fan of retro platformers, then this action-adventure game may still be worth checking out, but, unless you have a burning desire to play, it’s hard to fully recommend
